Julio Sánchez Chóliz

Graduated in Mathematics from the U. of Zaragoza in 1971, he taught Mathematics in Secondary Schools from 1972 to 1975, the year in which he joined the U. of Zaragoza as Assistant Professor. From 1976 to 1986 he was Interim Assistant, reaching the degree of University Holder in that year and that of University Professor in 1996. He has been named Professor Emeritus of the U. de Zaragoza on 10/01/2019.

He taught Mathematics, Microeconomics, Growth and Development, Game Theory, and Game Theory and Decision Theory at Grade level. And at the Master’s and Doctorate level Mathematics, Differential Equations, Input-Output Models and Environment. In 2013 he was named an Honorary Member of the Hispano-American Society for Input-Output Analysis for his long research work. This work has also been recognized with the positive evaluation in 6 six-year terms, the maximum possible, covering the period 1977-2013. He is an evaluator of international journals, of ANECA and was an evaluator of the ACADEMIA program.

He has directed 14 doctoral theses, approved with Outstanding Cum laude. Three of them received the Extraordinary PhD Award in the Social Area of ​​the U. of Zaragoza. According to Google Scholar, as of November 1, 2022, the total number of citations received is 2,508, its h index is 26, and its i10 index is 43.
