L\u00f3pez has a degree in Geography and Territorial Planning and a master&#8217;s degree in Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing, both from the University of <span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\"> <\/span> <span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">Zaragoza. All his training has been motivated by a deep interest in the climate, the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">hydrology and its derived impacts on human societies. During his training he has been <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">involved in projects related to the study of climate change in areas of <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">mountain, including his end-of-degree and master&#8217;s degree projects on snow hydrology, in collaboration <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">with the Pyrenean Institute of Ecology (IPE-CSIC), which have led to two publications <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">scientific articles in the journals Cold Regions Science and Technology and Remote sensing <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">respectively. In 2020 &#8211; 2021 he did a 3-month stay at the A.R.S Progetti consultancy <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">S.P.A., in Rome, collaborating in a territorial development project in developing countries <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">developing. For more than a year, he entered as a N3 researcher in the Department of <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">Economic Analysis, at the Faculty of Economics and Business, of the University of Zaragoza, where he works on various economic analysis projects, linking climate and land use<span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\"> <\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">with socioeconomic issues. He is currently on a predoctoral contract <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--creote-family-two); color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">doing the thesis in collaboration with the Pyrenean Institute of Ecology (CSIC).
