The aim of the project is to incorporate groundwater flow evaluation systems and local-scale aquifer recharge techniques to mitigate extreme hydroclimatic events. Specifically, the project focus on the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How extreme natural behaviors affect groundwater.<\/li>\n<li>Application of NB-MAR techniques to buffer climate events.<\/li>\n<li>Impacts of different natural events on the quantity and quality of groundwater.<\/li>\n<li>Studying the role of groundwater flow systems in decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Integration of NB-MAR into water policies and the development of a sustainable regulatory environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On December 14, 2024, the consortium held a workshop to present the progress achieved so far (<a href=\"https:\/\/climexpe.elte.hu\/content\/successful-workshop-held-for-climex-pe-project.t.44181\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a>).
