As it is commented in a more concise and divulgative manner in issue Nº26, September 2024 of Papeles de Energía (Bielsa et al., 2024), recently it has been published 2 academic papers that analize the employmented associated to the invesment in renowable energy. Following the research lines of Tomás et al. (2023), in Cazcarro et al. (2024) it is explored the case of Aragón, which has received high investments in wind energy. The most recent work  focus on one of the rural regions of Aragón, Almazán-Gómez et al. (2025), and the implications for employment are different, which is imporant in he context of broad debate around the spatial and temporal distribution of the associated benefits and costs.
